100W. If you are not a rookie, you may count only rookies worked. A
"rookie" is a ham first licensed in 2017, 2018, or 2019 OR one who has
never before made a CW QSO, in which case, he or she would send "19" for
the year. Exchange: Name + 2 digit for year first licensed + S/P/C or
XE area. Rookies should send "CQ RR."
12. Straight Key Century Club Week Day Sprint (SKS). Next Tuesday
night local date, 0000-0200Z Wednesday 12/25. 160-10M CW. Use a
mechanical key. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, SKCC# or "NONE." Look
around 050-060 kHz on most bands and lower on 160M. There is usually a
bonus station, but the announcement of who that will be hasn't been
published yet.
Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. Next
weekend should bring the Canada Winter Contest and the Stew Perry on
160m plus the RAEM CW contest.
The NAQP contests will be coming up early in the year and we will want
to enter teams. Please let me know if you would like to be on a team
for CW, SSB, or RTTY or all of them.
