To: Southeast Sprint Coalition members: I am getting up teams for NAQP
under the SECC club umbrella. We welcome any one from any where to be
on a team. If you don't have another team for the NAQP CW on January 4
or the NAQP SSB on January 11, please let me know that you would like to
be on one of our teams and how much time you think you might be able to
operate.
First, I am repeating the report of the OK/OM DX RTTY Contest from last
week because I had a typographical error in NF4J's call sign.

This Week's Contests:
1. QRP Fox Hunt, 40M. 0200-0330Z Wed (Tues night local date). Two
foxes (K4BAI, JOHN, GA and NC4RT, RANDY, NC) will be calling between
7030 and 7050 kHz. Work only the two foxes and do not spot their
frequencies. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power. Hounds do not report
their results as the scores are taken from the foxes' published logs.
2. Phone Fray. Every Tuesday. 0230-0259Z Wed. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160 M
SSB. 100W max power. No QSY rule. Exchange: Name + SPC. Mults count
per band. Use your NAQP SSB contest module. Look around 21325, 14250,
7175, 3800, and 1875 kHz.
3. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday local date. Three
separate one-hour mini-tests. 1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thurs UTC date).
160-10M CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. All this month, the CWOps
Club will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary with some special call
signs and a lot of activity. Look at the CWOps home page for full
information on this month's competitive activity. Non members may work
members who (outside the CWTs) will identify themselves by sending "CWO"
after their calls.
4. QRP ARCI New Years Sprint. 1500-1800Z Wed. Jan 1. 80-10M CW.
Exchange: RST + SPC + QRPARCI# or power. Look around 060 kHz on the
other bands and 030 to 045 kHz on 40M.
5. NCCC RTTY Sprint. Every Thursday evening. 0145-0215Z Friday. 15,
20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. 100W max power. One/one kHz QSY rule. Exchange:
both calls, #, name, SPC. Same band dupes OK after one intervening
QSO. Look around 080-082 kHz on the higher bands and up from 1805 kHz
on 160M.
6. NCCC NS Sprint. Every Thursday evening. 0230-0259Z Friday. 15, 20,
40, 80, 160M CW. 100W max power. One/one kHz QSY rule. Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC. No same band dupes permitted. Look around 040 kHz
and up from 1815 kHz.
7. QRP Fox Hunt 80M. See #1 above. Same rules except frequencies are
3550 to 3570 kHz and the foxes are scheduled to be VE2KM, TONY, QC and
WC7S, WY, LEE.
8. World Wide Peace Messenger Cities Contest. 1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun.
160-10M CW, SSB. Exchange: RS(T) + CQ Zone or Peace Messernger City
Abbreviation. Atlanta is a Peace Messenger City. There is usually a
lot of activity in this one, at least on CW.
9. ARRL Kids Day Contest. 1800-2359Z Sat. 80-10M SSB and 2 meter
repeaters. Exchange: Name + Age + Favorite Color.
10. ARRL RTTY Round-Up. 1800Z Sat to 2359Z Sun. Maximum of 24 hours
of operation with no more than two off periods. 80-10M RTTY, Digital.
Exchange: RST + SPC + serial #.
11. European CW 160 Meter Contest. 2000-2300Z Sat and 0400-0700Z Sun.
160M CW. Exchange: RST + Name + Club Membership + Club Membership #.
See rules for a list of eligible clubs, most of which have members in
the USA.
12. Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint. 0200-0400Z Tuesday (Monday
night local date). 80-10M CW. 5W max power. Exchange: RST + SPC + power.
13. 40M QRP Fox Hunt. Same as #1 above except the foxes are scheduled
to be NK9G/7, RICK, AZ and KV2X, TOM, NY.
I am still trying to get up teams of two to five members for NAQP CW and
SSB in January. Please let me know if you can be on a team.
