This Week's Contests:

1. NCCC RTTY Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0145-0215Z Fri.
  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. 100W max power. One/one kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Same band dupes OK after one
intervening QSO. Look around 082 kHz and up from 1805 kHz.

2. NCCC NS Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0230-0259Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W max power. One/one kHz QSY
rule. Exchange: both callsd, #, name, SPC. No same band dupes
permitted. Look around 040-046 kHz on the upper bands and up from 1815
kHz on 160M.

3. QRP Fox Hunt 80M. 0200-0330Z Friday (Thursday night local date). Two
QRP foxes will be calling between 3550 and 3570 kHz. 5W max power.
Exchange: RST, SPC, name, power. Work only the two foxes and do not
spot their frequencies. Foxes usually start out listening "up" so this
is good practice for operating split. They may listen on or near their
transmitting frequencies near the end of the period when they may stop
sending "up." Foxes are: N8SS, EARL, MI and N4FP, WAYNE, FL.

4. K1USN Slow Speed Test. 2000-2100Z Friday. 160-20M CW. Maximum
speed 20 WPM. Exchange: Name + SPC. You can use your NAQP CW contest
module, but you will need to recompute to add any mults from outside NA.

5. ARRL International DX Contest, CW. 48 hours of weekend UTC. 160-10M
CW. Exchange: RST + S/P. DX stations (including KH6 and KL7) send RST
+ power. No credit for working other W/VE stations so work DX only.
And DX do not get credit except for W/VE QSOs. This is one of the big
DX contests of the year. There is a club aggregate score competition, so
be sure to include your club name in the header of your log if you are
located within the ARRL circle for the club. For SECC put exactly:
SOUTH EAST CONTEST CLUB.

6. FISTS Sunday Sprint. 2100-2300Z Sunday. 80-10M CW. Maximum power
100W. Call is "CQ FS." Exchange: RST + Name + FISTS# or "0." Look
for activity around 058 kHz on each band.

7. Flying Pigs QRP Club February Run for the Bacon. 2300Z Sun to 0100Z
Mon. 160-10M CW. Max power 5W. Exchange: RST + SPC + FP# or power.

8. K1USN Slow Speed Test (SST). Every Sunday night local date.
0000-0100Z Monday. 160, 80, 40, 20M CW. Exchange: Name + SPC. See #
4 above.

9. QCX Challent. Three separate one-hour events Monday local date.
1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z Tueday. 160-10M CW. Exchange: RST + Name + SPC +
Rig. Bonus for working stations using QCX rigs.

10. Straight Key Century Club February Week Day Sprint (SKS). 0000-0200Z
Wed (Tues night local date). 160-6M CW. Use a mechanical key.
Exchange: RST + SPC + Name + SKCC# or "NONE." No spotting assistance
allowed. Bonus station this month is K3TM.

11. QRP Fox Hunt 40M. Same as #3 above except the frequency range is
7030-7050 kHz and the foxes are scheduled to be K0ZK, ARN, ME and W9CF,
KEVIN, AZ.

12. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wednesday local date. Three
separate one-hour mini-tests. 1300Z, 1900, and 0300Z Thursday. 160-10M
CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. Look around 023 to 052 kHz on the
higher bands and from about 1815 to 1835 on 160M.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs. Also hope
no one receives damage from the storms that have happened and will
happen later this week. 73, John, K4BAI, For SECC.
