This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Tests.  Every Wed. Three separate one-hour tests. 
1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date).  160-10M CW. Exchange:  Name + 
CWOps # or SPC.  Look around 923 to 053 kHz and lower on 160M. This week 
there will be a fourth hour, 0700-0800Z.  This is sort of experimental 
trying to find a time that other parts of the world can be QRV.

2.  RAC Canada Day Contest.  Thursday (UTC), July 1 for 24 hours. 160-2M 
CW, Phone. Exchange:  RS(T) + serial # or VE province or territory. 
More points for working Canadian stations, but everyone can be worked 
for some points.  Mults are VE provinces or territories.  This is 
Canada's Independence Day.  This contest will be a lot of fun.  KU8E and 
K4BAI will be two ops of a multi op remote entry using the station and 
antennas of K1TTT, in Peru, MA.  Peru, MA is celebrating 250 years since 
it was established as a town, hence the special event call is K1P.

3.  Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) Sprint - Europe.  1900-2100Z 
Thursday.  160-6M CW.  use a mechanical key. Exchange:  RST, SPC, name, 
SKCC# or "NONE."  You can work anyone. Activity here starts on 20M and 
moves down to 40M.

4.  QRP Fox Hunt.  Thursday night local date, 0100-0230Z Friday.  Two 
QRP Foxes (AJ1DM, JOHN, RI and W9CF, KEVIN, AZ) will be calling between 
14050 and 14070 kHz.  5W max power.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power. 
Foxes usually start off listening up from their transmit frequency and 
sending "UP."  Most will go simplex after the pileup has died down. Work 
only the two foxes and do not spot their frequencies.  It is possible 
that we could be able to work both foxes from this area of the country 
this week.

5.  NCCC RTTY Sprint.  0145-9215Z Friday (Thursday night local date). 
15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W max power.  One/one kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 082 kHz and up from 
1805 kHz on 160M.  Same band dupes OK after one intervening QSO.

6.  NCCC NS Sprint.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local date).  15, 
20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W max power.  One/one kHz QSY rule.  Exchange: 
both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040-046 kHz and up from 1815 kHz. 
  No same band dupes permitted.

7.  K1USN Slow Speed Test (SST).  2000-2100Z Friday.  20, 40, 80, 160M 
CW.  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  Max speed 20 WPM.  You can use your NAQP CW 
contest module, but you will need to add multipliers for those worked 
outside North America.

8.  DL-DX RTTY Contest.  1100Z Sat to 1059Z Sun.  80-10M RTTY. Exchange: 
  RST + QSO#.  Work everyone.

9.  Two Meter Classic Sprint.  1300-1330Z Sat.  1M CW, SSB.  Exchange: 
serial # + 4 character grid square.

10.  Marconi Memorial HF Contest.  1400Z Sat to 1400Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + serial #.  Work everyone.

11.  K1USN Slow Speed Test (SST).  0000-0100Z Monday (Sunday night local 
date).  See # 7 above.

12.  Adventure Radio Society Spartan Sprint.  0100-0300Z Tuesday (Monday 
night local date).  80-10M CW.  5W max power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Power.

22.  CWTs.  See #1 above.

23.  Flying Pigs QRP Club Walk for the Bacon.  0000-0100Z Thursday (Wed 
night local date).  40M CW.  5W max power.  13 WPM max speed.  Suggested 
frequencies:  7050-7065 kHz.  Second hour is the next night, 0200-0300Z 
Friday (Thursday night local date).  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + FP# 
or power.  Suggested frequencies:  7110-7125 kHz.  You may work the same 
station each night.

Remember that the annual 13 Colonies special event begins 1300Z on July 
1 and ends 0400Z July 8.  Try to work all 13 colonies plus some bonus 
stations.  Stations in the former colony of GA will be signing K2G.  I 
will be one of them.
