To give you an idea of CPU requirements, I run a HyGain vertical, good
radials, and the following as a machine dedicated solely to Skimmer Server:


Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5 Ghz 4M 1333 Processor
3 GB DDR2 800 mhz memory, running XP Pro


During CQ CW WW it occasionally bogs down and appears CPU limited but I am
otherwise satisfied with it.
