The daily sunspot number (SSN) has reached 118 and the daily solar flux
index (SFI) 147.1, both new record high's for solar cycle 24.

Global 10 meter radiowave propagation conditions for the weekend of
Saturday-Sunday 03/05-06, 2011 was the best in seven years.

The partially geoeffective (Earth facing) coronal mass ejection (CME)
arrived yesterday UTC 03/06/2011 but created only (Kp-3) unsettled
geomagnetic conditions at high and mid latitudes. There was negligible
negative effect on the maximum usable frequency (MUF) which remained above
the 10 meter band.
