T-T Model 229 tuner. Comments?

If anyone has any comments on the Model 229 tuner from T-T, I think it is
roller inductor/2 kw (hope I do have the model number correct), 
I would be interested in hearing about it. A friend has passed on to me
info regarding one for sale, and I would like to have a larger tuner for
the long wire antenna due to 160 m. antenna requirements not meeting the
yard size (hi), and desire to have a tuner with the 'infinite' nature
perhaps of roller inductor instead of tapped inductor, and so on.
