Paragon vs. Omni

I had an Omni V and traded it for a Paragon in order to get the
general coverage.  The Omni is quieter and has a nicer sound (less 
distortion, especially with a lot of QRN) to my ear, but the Paragon 
works fine.  Being able to select a narrow 9MHZ filter in the Omni 
helps in some contest situations.  If all depends on whether you have 
any interest in listening outside the ham bands.
