[TenTec] OMNI-VI and SB-220

Greetings,
Has anyone tried to modify a Heath SB-220 to QSK with the OMNI-VI?
How does TT QSK their amps?
I have Rich Measures article from QST. He uses vacuum relays and a 
timing circut. There must be a simpler method, using the TX-in TX-out 
connectors on the OMNI.
