Hello gang,
Thanks again for all the responses concerning Omni V and VI birdies.
Some of you asked for an expanded list of birdies that I could hear and
the conditions I was hearing them under.
So here goes:
Omni VI Plus, serial number 10A10097
Purchased 11/11/97
Installed filters - 217 and 285
Test conditions as follows:
1) Omni VI antenna jack connected alternately to a 50 ohm dummy load,
Cushcraft A-3, or 160 meter dipole via external B&W antenna switch.
2) DSP and notch filters off, no auxilliary filters engaged, in CW
mode.
3) AGC on and in fast position.
Birdies heard at:

Some are weak are are masked by atmospheric noise when an antenna is
connected, but the moderate to strong ones are not. With a resonant
antenna connected, I can hear a tones ranging from S1 to S5+ at about
50% of the frequencies listed above.
Hope this is of some use.
