[TenTec] Followup on Omni VI Plus birdies

My results below. I left the main ant connectec, but switched to Aux
Antenna and scouted out birdies. None are loud, some are more
noticeable... (+ indicates the loudest level, can be heard with antenna
connected and low band noise. Remember most of these birdies are
extremely narrow - no more than 80 Hz wide.) Rig is Omni VI+ Serial
Number 10A10157, received today, 11.24.97.
Hope this is useful. The "-" and "--" notations are strength. -- is
barely readable above the noise, and - is slightly more so. Connecting
the antenna causes these to disappear (either noise or load, not sure
which). I only did the first hundred or so KHz of each band because I'd
rather be chasing DX with the new Omni than checking this out. It would
seem to me that your rig, Karl, has a bug in it causing the birdies to be
at an objectionable level.
