[TenTec] omni-d--loss of output

Howdy!
  My omni-d is on the blink.Power out is approx. 10 watts.
 No ALC. With full drive the ALC never activates. On the low
 level driver bd I found a suspicious cap. It appears to have
 a pin hole in it.Cap in question is only a bypass cap.It is
 C7 bypass to emitter on Q5.Question is,could it affect ALC to
 lose it, thereby,causing low output through other switching cir-
 cuits to the final?Its the chick es egg deal,which comes first,
 the ALC or output?Tnx es 73.
