[TenTec] Thanks for help on Paragon issue

Well thanks to all that replied regarding the Paragon problem.

I was able to get the unit going but only by doing it in a certain order.

First, here is what I tried without success.

1) reset unit both with power and without. (sometimes a reset without power
would bring the unit up with everything lit and transmitting !) A reset
during power on would bring it back to the base problem RX,TX offsets and
lock lights on and no display.
2) remove battery
3) Unhook 962 supply and try astron
4) Remove ROM board and reseat
5) Remove ROM and reseat
6) Walk away and leave off for 30 minutes
7) @%#$&$* (didn't help)


The key was a reset with power on and battery removed. Only in that order.
All other combinations did not work. Thanks to all that gave me the ideas to
try items 1 -6. Item 7 I was able to do on my own...
