I thought it sounded good, and either way it seems to be balanced. 
Remember the ARRL slogan, the part about being balanced?
HEY it is only a hobby, and people are supposed to enjoy their hobbies. 
So maybe it is working huh?  As long as we are all enjoying it lets keep
doing it!

As far as the threads on filters and chirps are concerned,
my take on it is this:

10% hamming, 10% tech, 10% conversation,

AND 70% IMAGINATION!
