At the Sterling Illinois Hamfest yesterday, I saw a foot key. It was brand
new in the box, so some one is making a device to use in case you break
your hands? There is probably a story behind this, how ever I did not
ask. 73 Paul WA9FFL

Yep! It was the pot (R-21) on the LLD/ALC board. Ten Tec is sending
me
a replacement part as the local suppliers didn't have anything with the
same "footprint" on hand.
Now, my only question is "If I didn't kick the rig when it failed, how
did I end up with a stress fracture in my left foot?" I had the time to
troubleshoot the rig because I am laid up at least thru Monday with this.
You want some fun? Drive to the clinic in a car with a 5-speed and run
the clutch with a broken left foot! At least I can still run the pump
handle on my key this weekend!
