[TenTec] motor home mobile

I hope to retire this yearand my xyl and I have decided to heck
with the kid's inheritance-let's spend it and buy a motor home.
I have never had any mobile experience. I used an OMNI D for 20 years
before upgrading to an OMNI VI+. No other rig experience.
But then there was no need to.
I want to know what xcvr is best suited for motor home use.
What is a good antenna?
What are some of the pitfalls?
Without a good mobile to occupy my time, we will come visit all 
of you and spend at least a week there, so give me good info.
