[TenTec] Ten-Tec Radio Problem

Hi there from Batemans Bay, Australia!!

I have a Ten-Tec HF transceiver - a Corsair (Mark
1).  The rig works well but there is one problem -
the display.

On all bands the display seems to wander off ...
giving a frequency outside the band in question ...
and not responding to the dial.  The rig does seem
to hold its frequency okay ... but it's almst as if
the VFO signal is not getting through to the
display.  At times the display is not stable ... and
continously wanders off about the place.

Does any person have ideas about this 'fault'?
