[TenTec] noise in house wiring

I found that my phone line was bringing stuff into the house from outside (where
it was getting it I don't know) but putting the phone line filter in the phone
line cleared it up very well. These filters are available from an ad in QST. One
way to see if this is a problem is to listen to noise with your antenna
connected and disconnect the phone line at the entry to the house and see if the
noise problem is helped. If it is then the filter should help. It cost only a
few dollars.
