The next question is, how many does Ten Tec have? Are we taking about
6, a dozen or 100? Buy two, put them together like a dipole, feed with
twin lead or coax, use a tuner ant it will probably work fine on
18-28 MHz. Put it on the mast with a tribander to cover those
missing WARC bands. Buy 4 and make them into a compact 12m two
element beam. Buy six and make a three element beam. Set up 4 in
a vertical array, feed with phasing harnesses and you have a
vertical steerable array. Or, just stick a couple on your car or
truck; they're bound to look cool, even if you don't use them.
Stick one out a window and hook your shortwave receiver to it. It
will work much better than the built-in telescoping whip.
