[TenTec] question on adapters

Apology to Scott and all:
After reading Duane's note below, I took a more careful look at the adapter for the
Heil that I was describing in my last note.  Darned if I had not, some long time
ago, screwed it in to an unwired female socket, such that when I was looked at it
casually, it appeared to be a male plug.  It is not.  It is a female socket.  It
fits right into the mic socket on the front of the Omni VI.  Sorry to mislead all.

In fact, I plugged it in to the Omni and the Heil, pushed vox and was on the air.
Learn something new every day.  Thanks, Duane.  (That is how often I use SSB).  I'll
try it on the Ten-Tec net this coming Sunday.
