During all the praise of Ten-Tec radios, there's one thing I haven't 
noticed written here on the reflector:

One reason I like Ten-Tec radios is because they have names, even if 
the names do sometimes sound a little pompous. I much prefer talking 
about my Scout, Corsair, Triton, Omni, Hercules, etc., than inhuman 
model numbers such as TS-530, FT-1000 or IC-706. Maybe it's just 
another indication, that as a customer of Ten-Tec,we're treated as  
real people with names and not just impersonal service order numbers.
