Someone made a comment to me about two 20' lengths of coax being used as a feedline will act as a 1/4 wave transformer on 14 MHz.
While this may be true, it should be noted that the exact same thing happens with one length of coax. A 20' single length may also
act as a 1/4 wave transformer on 14 MHz. Also, the real purpose of twisting balanced feed line is to use the Faraday Rotation of
the Earths elecromagnetic field to add in phase to the twisted polarization of the feed line thereby making a signal from a Power
Mite travel at twice the speed of light! This makes the signal go twice as far and sound twice as loud. It is really critical
about which way the transmission line is twisted, if it is twisted backward it will cause inverse phase modulation and cancel all
radiation from everywhere as well as confuse the squirrls on the feed line. This may result in one receiving a complaint of crulty
to animals from P.E.T.A. - Sherrill W. k4own
