[TenTec] 645 keyer help

I have a 645 keyer and after a hour or so it locks up. I asked for advise 
frm TT but they said the cords are shorted. I have changed the cords and it 
still does the same thing??? Might it be rf getting in side??? I only use it 
on QRp?? Help
