[TenTec] Power Supply Hum

Ed,
  I have always found that hum in all the TEN-TEC power supplies is
caused by a defective diode in the bridge rectifier.  I use the RADIO
SHACK 50 volt, 25 amp square package for less than $5.00 as a
replacement.
