They've been around for years.  Check out the Tokyo Hy-Power HT-750 (6, 15,
and 40 meters, 3 watts out) at http://www.thp.co.jp  Make sure your browser
is set for Japanese encoding.  I've had one of these, and they are
absolutely outstanding.

Quite a few were imported into the US about 5-10 years ago, so they do turn
up from time to time.  There is also a Tokyo HyPower reflector on OneList.

Mizuho also made some monoband units.  The 6 and 10 meter ones were sold by
AEA, and later Pico sold all of them, though not in great quantity.

Now...  since these are not being imported, anyone wonder if Ten Tec would
ever consider building something similar?  Would they even consider OEMing
the THP product?  This is certainly the right time of the cycle for such a
rig.
