Hello TT-fellows,
I have noticed the following at my Paragon II:
In normal voice-operating I set the MIKE control approx. 12 o'clock position
and the RF PWR fully clockwise. With this settings my TT705 works great
of a distance of approx 25 centimeters. The sensitivity is optimal for my
voice
and the ALC LED flashes up only at voice peaks.
Tried to work with the processor last days and found the following:
first adjusted the processor control as the manual recommended.
Then did set RF PWR and MIKE control as above. With this settings
and reduced speaking distance to about 1 centimeter there is no
ALC LED flash in voice peaks. Must set the MIKE control fully clockwise
as the RF PWR control to get a little ALC LED flash at speaking distance
within 3 centimeters. Seems to me that output is reduced in due of very
low sensitivity of MIKE input. Could solve the problem only by enforced
voice
but don't want to wake up all my neighbors in our street. Did anyone detect
the same with the own Paragon II and is this normal or something wrong with
my
unit? Any hints would be vy appreciate.
Excuse my English, vy 73's Alfred, DL2JR
mit freundlichen Gruessen
