Bigger is better if you get it significantly bigger.  My low loop last Field
Day was about 1.5 waves on 160m,  only 20 feet high over flat field, worked
great on 80m to 10m as far as tune up, and we only tried QSOs from 40 on up
to 10 with it.  Just not enough good ears on 80m that night!
