[TenTec] Omni 6+ Question

O.K., those of you with the experience, what is going bad or wrong when you
turn the tuning knob quickly and the frequency changes, but occasionally
stops with the last digit flashing a bit but then it starts going again?
Has not really failed yet, but it is an annoyance.
