If you use the N4PY control software, you can adjust
the transmitt passband to just about anything.
Since the final IF frequency of the Pegasus is only
12.5 kHz there is a possibility of hearing some noise
from the DSP. It is hard for me to understand why
there is so much concern about the purity of the CW
note. The quality of the sending is much more important.
I would rather receive well formed Morse code with a
little chirp than some of the sloppy stuff I hear.
