Tim,

There is a factory mod to the Omni V to reduce pops and feedback when
switching between RX and TX. It involves connecting a 100K resistor from the
lead nearest to the front panel on R78 ( 330K ) on the IF/AF board to
ground.  On the schematic, R78 is connected between pins 3 and 5 of U10
(dual op amp) in the middle on the right side.
