Stuart and everyone,

First I want to thank all for their comments. Very interesting to see what
different guy's experiences with the Scout have been.

Regarding noise. I understand that some of the CPUs were noisier than
others and there is an upgrade/fix for that.

The following numbers are from the Elecraft page.

RIG MDS IMDDR3 Ip3 BDR Phase Noise Phase Noise
                                      (20 kHz space) (@ +4 kHz) (@+10 kHz)

K2 -131/-138 97/98 +21.6/+6.9 136/128 -120 -126
Omni 6+ -133 97 +12 123 (nl) -117 -123
Pegasus -132 77 +7.2 123(nl) -115 -120
IC 706 -136/-142 89/86 -1.3/-11 122nl/120nl -95 -115
TS 50 -132/-139 90/88 +3/-7 113/109 -115 -125
Scout -125 87 +5.5 119 -95 -115
SGC2020 -130 88 +15.5 110 -108 -115

Questions:

1. Does anyone know if these specs represent the upgraded
 or non-upgraded Scout CPU ?

2. Although I do understand the crude basic meaning of the numbers I don't
really understand the details or the real connection to operating. I'd like
to hear comments from those who are more experienced and more knowledgeable.
tnx & 73
