[TenTec] Orion interface

I just received my Orion. I am using the Top Ten band decoders in the so2r
setup. The Orion will NOT interface with these units. I have been working
with Scott (W4PA) and Dave (N3RD) at Top Ten but as yet my new Orion is not
hooked up. Both of them have been quick to respond and address the
issue...so thanks guys for the great support.
The logic circuits/relays at the towerbase have no idea what is going on in
the shack. SO, the Orion essentially has no antenna. This will be worked
around but if you are expecting to cut off the din plug from your Yaesu or
?? and rewire to the band data plug on the Orion--don't do it. I will post
more as the plot thickens. Now if I can get the MP to switch everything so I
can patch in and hear the Orion come to life.  73, Tommy WD4K
