Roy, I agree and think you have a grip on this concern.  I had commented to
the originator that I suspected contact bounce as being the culprit in as
much as the loop current is quite low for the Omni VI+.  Other rigs and
circuits may have a higher loop current requirement thus the contact bounce
is not observed.  A scope across the contacts while keying the Omni will
certainly indicate if contact bounce is the problem.
