Dave has done a really nice job on this tuner.  One thing to point out is
the fact that he is using RG-213 coax for the balun material.  The use of
foam type coax in a tight wound configuration will most likely allow the
center conductor migrate through the foam and eventually short to the
shield.

As a side comment, the use of this type balun has proven to provide the best
balance and actually forces a balance across a wide frequency range with
greater power handling abilities than most if not all ferrite wound baluns.
