[TenTec] dbm and VU units of audio measurement

Eric, I once challenged ARRL on "bauds" and they sent me a copy of some ITU
spec that used that term. They argued that if it is proper to use "Ohms" and
"volts" then it is equally proper to use "bauds."

Annoys me, too, and I never use the term. Specifying the bit rate gives an
unambiguous definition of what you are saying. Depending upon the person,
"baud(s)" could mean anything.

I, too, lose patience with those who think that everything that goes between
a transmitter and an antenna must be  either a tuner, a transmission line or
a balun.
