[TenTec] The Argonaut V, a beautiful . . .

Has anyone compared the Argonaut V's  Noise Blanker to older non-IF-DSP 
receivers?
I am disappointed by the spec. Receive power supply current. I wish 
attempts were made to keep it low
for battery operation.
