If the flash update program is the same as the one for the Peg and Jup and
if you run win2000 or XP, you may need to run the program in the win98
compatability mode.

Radio gets as far as showing "C C=000" in the display, then I get an
error message on the PC that says "communication with the radio
has failed".

I'm using a staight thru RS-232 cable.  Do I maybe need a null
modem in there (e.g., wrap the Tx/Rx lines)??

Com port is set to 9600, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit -- and I've tried
with with all versions of flow control.

Sigh ....
