[TenTec] scout display problem with 40 meter module

With a lint free cloth and ethyl alcohol, or TV tuner cleaner at least,
clean the board edge contacts.  Spray tv tuner cleaner into the socket
contacts as well.
Make sure module is fully seating, some fit tight!
