The 40 meter net, while anyone is welcome to check in, is more or less pertaining to the newer dsp rigs such as the Orion, Argonaut, Jupiter, Pegasus. Sunday afternoon at 22:00Z. I think it changes to 23:00 when the time change occurs.
The Ten-Tec Users Net is on 20 meters at 14.329 on Sunday afternoons at 20:30Z. When the time change takes place it will be at 21:30Z so it will be the same time local. Discussion of any Ten-Tec equipment is welcome on the net and for sale/trade Ten-Tec items is encouraged.
I had 22 check ins on the 20 meter net today, which is up from recent weeks (I think), due to slightly improved band conditions. Hopefully it will continue to improve with the onset of cooler weather. Next Sunday, Ron, KI0II in CO is scheduled to be NCS.
I encourage you all to check in and participate in both of these nets and help show your support for the
Ten-Tec equipment just as often as you do on this reflector. Not many manufacturers of ham gear left here in the US and none that I know of that put on an excellent FREE hamfest. Thanks, Ten-Tec! Keep it up.
Please, if you have any questions or comments about the net times or the time change deal, please contact me off the list. It always seems to stir up some kind of controversy any time there is a mention of it on the reflector for some reason. I will be happy to try and answer any Q's.
73 to all. Ed/w4wvw
