[TenTec] New Orion

    I received my new Orion with tuner today.  I must admit that it is quite some machine and will take some getting use to as compared to my FT-1000.  Setup was pretty straight forward, using the manual, step by step.  I been listening to 80, 40, and 20 M SSB.  The bands don't seem to be in too good a shape this evening, at least at my QTH.

    I really appreciate the initial settings that some have posted here.  I have printed copies, used them for my setup, and have been playing with some variations.  I guess that the true test will be on a noisy band, with a big DX pileup.
