Yup, we have to remember that an e-mail address can easily be hijacked.  It's 
happened to my business e-mail address several times this year, but mostly 
from spam factories.  However, a couple lately have been associated with virus 
transmissions, but caught by someone else's corporate virus protection software.

You know you've been hijacked when you see a sudden increase in the number of 
"undeliverable mail" notices being received from people you don't know.

Our IT group appears not to be able to stop the e-mail address theft problem. 

Spam and/or viruses may not originate from the e-mail address associated with 
the e-mail.
