I don't think anyone can satisfy Eric, but I hope Ten-Tec can get Tom's
specific problems fixed.  

For 99% of us normal guys, the Orion is a great radio with an occasional
hiccup.

I've decided to call my Orion "Dumbo" because with it's big ears (and great
RX), it hears signals that other radios cannot hear.

What is this, the X-Files, parallel universes, karma or ???  I guess if I
had the experience of Tom or Eric I might feel the same way.  But I don't
and it's hard to reconcile the conclusions they reach with the rig in my
shack and how it performs.  Where's Mulder when we need him?
