Ouchhhhh!!! That is actually pretty sad to me. However my Titan 3 is 
still under warranty as I've had it less than a year. But I bet you 
hit exactly on the problem with my amp. Every time I get it back, it 
seems to work just fine for three or four day, but when I have had 
it turned on for long period of times, that seems to be when the 
problems occur. Long period times probably means something is 
getting heat soaked and then fails. BTW, the Titan 3 tubes are 
around $100 each; it's my original Titan 425 that has those $500 + 
buck tubes in it!

I think I must have been extremely lucky back in '92 when I bought a 
fabulous Omni 6 and the Titan 425. Those two pieces of gear are just 
plain good ole workhorses. I certainly can't say that about my Orion 
and Titan 3. Live and learn, as the saying goes.
