The pictures look great and Ten Tec's are beautiful, but IMHO, nothing beats
Hallicrafters Grey with Black Trim!  (Although I could never care for the
red "h" of the Northrop era, but that's another tangent)

Allan is right.  Black is not beautiful on radios!

I preferred the lighter colors of the Omni VI, but liked the old
Triton IV and original Argonaut even better!

I've probably operated a dozen contests with the Argonaut set up
in a tent and using only candle light to see (backlight was
switched off to save power which was being taken from my
motorcycle battery).  That's when you really "see" a difference
between a light-colored and dark-colored radio!

I bet this QTH rivaled Yuri's for good take-off!
