Ignore it.
There have been people flying this type of garbage as far back as when Ten
Tec still had a dealer network.
I still remember when one local picked up on & spread the rumor that the
Argosy's were made in Mexico (his "proof?" They didn't say "Made in USA" on
them) as part of his argument to buy TS-430's instead. His mind was made up
and there was no persuading him otherwise.
There are small-but-vocal "anti" factions for almost everything involved in
amateur radio, and they find an outlet to vent their spleens on eHam. Best
thing that can happen to them is that we ignore them... if they think they
have no audience, they'll go away. Ignore it.
