[TenTec] Jupiter with external tuner?

Hi Bob,
One other factor to take into consideration is whether you'll ever be
using an external amplifier. The LDG does just fine with 100 watts.
Otherwise, you'll have to get another model if you'll be wanting to
eventually be feeding more power through the tuner via an amplifier.

Thanks for all the responses so far. I am trying to decide if I want to
get the Jupiter with their internal AT11 tuner or go for something else like
an SGC. I generally do not trust most internal tuners as they are generally
on the light side (from my experience). Perhaps this is not the case here.
I will be using the tranceiver for MARS as well which is outside the ham
bands a bit.
