[TenTec] Jupiter with external tuner?

Regardless, I'd opt for a tuner of the likes of the Tentec 238. It works
extremely well and will handle the power and any complex Z connected to it.
Ok, so one has to twiddle the knobs a bit. I find that to be no big deal.
I did, however, take the time to make up a nice chart for all the antennas
and all the bands. One 8.5" x 11" simple Excel spreadsheet that is neatly
folded and slides under the tuner.

While the auto tuners are nice, I have observed one circumstance where the
auto tuner did the job but the poor fellow couldn't hear or couldn't get
out. Days latter after much investigation and frustration he discovered
that his antenna had fallen down. With a manual tuner and a reference chart
one should know immediately that something has gone amiss.
