[TenTec] Tired of Orion

I do a lot of reading and not much talking here on this thread. I do own an
Orion, I think it was the second production run, and I am very happy with
it. I also own and Icom 746, Icom 706 MKIIG, SGC2020, Yaesu 817, and an old
Icom 751A. I use them all and the Orion is my favorite. The only problem I
have had is when I try to download the updates. Sometimes I have to try
several times.

You will notice I do not have a Kenwood. I have had them in the past and had
little if any problems. I just don't like what they have right now. I have
had other TT equipment and the main reason for me buying the Orion was the
service TT offers and I like dealing with the folks up there. I have been
very pleased with the performance of the Orion.

My 2-cents and I probably will not have anything to say for another two
years.
