[TenTec] Omni VI and power supply occilation???

That's what I was thinking. Short of putting a recording
oscilloscope on the supply leads, I would buy
their "official supply" and run it that way after it's
fixed. Then you will have sorted out the excuses from the
problems.
I run mine with an Astron for years. No problems.

>Looks like you're getting plenty of feedback concerning
that oscillation. My first thought was "what bloney!" Then I
realized I had misspelled bologna. Really, when it comes
right down to it....You can't prove or disprove any of this
power supply theory without it costing you another trip to
TenTec! I mean,,,are you going to get that VI fixed and hook
it back up to that same system just to see if it blows up
again? I think not! So then are you going to hook it up to
another supply for testing and run it for a few days and
THEN hook it back up to the other supply just to see what
happens? Again, I think not. I think you're stuck. TenTec
will never "approve" your power supply but they will
continue to blame it for you trouble and maybe, just maybe
there is some incompatability going on here. Who knows...Too
expensive to find out!
