[TenTec] UPS

My son recently purchased a radio from an individual. My son sent him a
cashiers check for $500 for the radio and the individual shipped the radio
via UPS. When the radio arrived, the box was not damged. When my son then
tried to operate the radio, the radio did not work. He called the person he
bought it from, and that guy said to file a claim with UPS for the $500. So
my son did exactly that. A few weeks later, my son received a check for
$500 from UPS and UPS then came to the house and picked up the damaged
radio. So, the claim was settled between UPS and the receiver of the
merchandies, not the shipper. And all this was settled in about 3 weeks.
So I think UPS was pretty good with this.
